LIFE Groups

LIFE groups are small group settings where you can grow deeper in your faith and also in your friendships with others. They are casual groups that will gather (usually in people's homes) to do LIFE together and to discuss a given topic of study (such as marriage, finances, parenting, apologetics, Christian living and more). There will often be appetizers and snacks and some groups choose to do a meal together. The goal of our LIFE groups is the development of community where you are loved, encouraged, challenged, and motivated for life in Christ.

LIFE groups meet in the fall and spring and there are some that meet in the summer as well.

Most groups are held biweekly.

    Study – Jesus Among Sages

As Christians we believe that Jesus is unique, God in human flesh, who made a way of salvation for all people. However, we live in a world where many people look to the teachings of other religious leaders like Buddha and Muhammad. How does Jesus compare to these other leaders? If you would like to learn how Jesus compares as well as what these religions teach, join us on Thursday nights from 6:30-8pm.

For this LIFE Group, it is recommended (not required) that you obtain a copy of the book Jesus among Sages. Using the book will really cement the ideas discussed in the LIFE Group. The book costs $11. If you need some assistance, please let us know.

    Study – Go Fish

We've all heard them. "It was this big." "You should have seen the one that got away." People love to tell stories of their fishing adventures. When it comes to faith, however, most people clam up. Why is it we can't talk about what God has done in our life as naturally as we can spin fishing tales? This six-part study explores the motivation behind sharing our faith and how it can become a natural part of our lives. The accompanying study guide includes conversation-starting exercises, discussion questions, and application steps.
