LIFE groups are small group settings where you can grow deeper in your faith and also in your friendships with others. They are casual groups that will gather (usually in people's homes) to do LIFE together and to discuss a given topic of study (such as marriage, finances, parenting, apologetics, Christian living and more). There will often be appetizers and snacks and some groups choose to do a meal together. The goal of our LIFE groups is the development of community where you are loved, encouraged, challenged, and motivated for life in Christ.

LIFE groups meet in the fall and spring and there are some that meet in the summer as well.

Most groups are held biweekly.

    Study – Counter Culture

Ask a group of Christians what they think about poverty, sex trafficking, or the orphan crisis, and you'll probably get a pretty quick response. But ask that same group about gay marriage or abortion, and you'll most likely be faced with a lot of nervous hesitancy or fuzzy answers. In this day when social issues are creating clear dividing lines in society, moral and political neutrality is not an option for those who believe the gospel. It's simply not enough to focus on only those issues that are most comfortable--and least costly--to us. Join David Platt and Pastor Bryan Sims as they invite us to fix our gaze on the holiness, goodness, love, truth, justice, authority, and mercy of God revealed in the gospel and to live with conviction, courage, and compassion in the midst of a culture that is drifting further from the truth every day.

Study – The Prayers of Jesus

Prayer was the backbone of Jesus' life and ministry. From his baptism to his crucifixion, the Gospels portray Jesus as a man of prayer who knew and deeply valued intimate communion with his heavenly Father. What can we learn from the prayers he prayed? In these engaging and interactive small group sessions, this study explores the prayers of Jesus, revealing new insights into prayer, the character of God, and your relationship with him. Each session begins in Israel, making it easier to experience and understand the cultural background of key teachings of Jesus. This dynamic and easy-to-understand study is written and taught by biblical experts with specialized areas of knowledge.

Study – Land Without Borders – How God Guides You Through The Wilderness

You may be familiar with the people and stories of Scripture but have you considered how the geography of the Bible factors into those accounts? Dr. John Beck has. He loves Scripture, and he loves how geography brings Bible reading to life. Once you understand the correlation of geography to story, he says, "You will read your Bible in a way that you’ve never read it before." This study takes a small group hiking through the wilderness of the Holy Land to help them grasp how barren it is. Join in this adventure with Dr. John Beck and John Bishop and see how the landscape plays into your spiritual experience. You’ll understand how biblical authors incorporated the elements of wilderness into their stories and learn to trust God within your own spiritual wilderness.
