LIFE groups are small group settings where you can grow deeper in your faith and also in your friendships with others. They are casual discussion groups relating to a given topic of study (such as marriage, finances, parenting, biographies, apologetics, and more). The goal is the development of healthy relationships where you can be loved, encouraged, challenged, and motivated for life in Christ.
LIFE Groups are held biweekly.

For those who have questions about life and ask, "Is there more to life than this?", Alpha really provides a way for people to see the relevance for Jesus in today's culture. The Alpha course started in London in 1979 and has become a powerful evangelization tool! It is estimated that 24+ million people worldwide have attended the Alpha course.
Group 2 - - Gospel Shaped Outreach
Host - TBD Location - TBD Study Leader - Mark Guillet Meeting Times - TBD Childcare - TBD Seating Capacity - TBD Study - Gospel Shaped Outreach by Don Carson and Tim Keller (co-founders of the Gospel Coalition) Many Christians are nervous about telling someone else about Jesus. We prefer to leave it up to the preacher, or to those we see as particularly gifted for evangelism in our congregations. But Jesus calls all believers to be involved in his work of making disciples of all nations. This study will not offer quick fixes or evangelism "gimmicks". But by continually pointing you back to the gospel, it will give you the the proper motivation to work together as a church to share the gospel message with those who are lost without Christ. As you search the Scriptures together, you will discover that God's mission of salvation in the world is also your mission; and that he is inviting you into the privilege of praying and working to advance his kingdom among your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and community.
Group 3 - Naugatuck - Counter Culture
Host - Adam & April Swiger Location - 345 Millville Ave., Naugatuck Study Leader - Adam Swiger Meeting Times - 5PM Sundays Childcare - yes Seating Capacity - 10 Study - Counter Culture by David Platt The Bible is clear on a number of issues: - Who God is—the holy, just, and gracious Creator of the universe - Who we are—men and women created in the image of God for our good and for God's glory - Who Christ is and what He has done—His life, death, and resurrection - What it means to follow Christ—to die to ourselves and to live in Him - Why this matters for eternity—heaven and hell are at stake in our response to the gospel
So how do these truths affect how we respond to the social issues of our day—realities such as poverty, slavery, abortion, sexual immorality, the degradation of marriage, the neglect of orphans and widows, racism, and persecution? David Platt believes that the truths of the gospel should compel us to a contrite, compassionate, and courageous personal response to social issues in the culture. Using biblical foundations, practical illustrations, and personal exhortations, this study is a pointed yet winsome call for readers to faithfully follow Christ in countercultural ways. There will be a cost. There will be a reward. Do Christians in the contemporary church have the courage to counter the culture?
Group 4 - Southbury - Do You Believe?
Host - Paul & Marilyn Pastore Location - 272 Heritage Village Study Leader - John Bishop Meeting Times - 7PM Mondays Childcare - No Seating Capacity - 12 Study - Based on the film "Do You Believe?" and from the creators of "God's Not Dead" A dozen different souls - all moving in different directions, all longing for something more. As their lives unexpectedly intersect, they each are about to discover there is a power in the Cross of Christ...even if they don't yet believe it. When a local pastor is shaken to the core by the visible faith of an old street-corner preacher, he is reminded that true belief always requires action. His response ignites a faith-fueled journey that powerfully impacts everyone it touches in ways that only God could orchestrate. More than a movie, it's a question we all must answer in our lifetimes: DO YOU BELIEVE?
